Erica Witter-Davis, DC, DACBSP, CSCS
Dr. Erica Witter-Davis, DC, DACBSP®, CSCS® attended the University of Tennessee – Knoxville on an athletic scholarship. She obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry and was a 3-time All-American in track and field. After four years competing at the collegiate level, Dr. Witter-Davis continued her athletic endeavors on the world stage. She competed professionally as a sprinter, becoming a National Champion in the 100m and 200m as well as competing at the Sydney Olympics (2000) and World Championships (2001).
Dr. Witter-Davis became the interim sprints and hurdles coach at the University of Tennessee, which allowed her to coordinate workouts, demonstrate proper lifting techniques, circuit/weight training programs incorporating strength and agility, designed to maximize each athlete’s potential.
The realm of athletics and fitness opened the door to chiropractic medicine. Dr. Witter-Davis graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences Cum Laude and was the recipient of the President’s Award. She furthered her knowledge by becoming a Diplomate American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physician (DACBSP®), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS®), an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation Practitioner and a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. This has allowed her to merge her knowledge of human biomechanics and chiropractic care to work closely with many elite athletes, weekend warriors and the general public.
