My Mission: Lead families on a journey to discover their God given health potential and cultivate a community thriving in the chiropractic lifestyle.
“I’ve been going to chiropractors since the age of 7, and that was really because of my sister. She suffered from chronic ear infections, asthma, and allergies, and after years of illness and medications, chiropractic care is what helped her to heal.” Dr. Chris has always pursued athleticism and found that he consistently felt his best and performed well on the field when he received regular adjustments. “By high school, I knew I wanted chiropractic to be my profession.”
John Edwards, DC, DACCP is a pregnancy and pediatric chiropractor, ICPA Diplomate and Instructor, serving Cape Coral and the surrounding communities in FL.
Dr. John Edwards graduated with honors from both Truman State University (2000) and Palmer College of Chiropractic- Davenport (2004) and has completed the Webster Certification course four times since 2008. His practice, Mama’s Chiropractic Clinic, focuses on perinatal and pediatric chiropractic care in two Southwest Florida locations. Dr. Edwards earned the Diplomate in pregnancy and pediatric practice (DACCP) through the Academy of Chiropractic Family Practice and Chiropractic Pediatrics and International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in 2018. Two additional training programs, the Spinning Babies & Integral Touch of Birth (resulting in the Spinning Babies Aware Practitioner designation SpBAP) and Brain DC’s 100 hour chiropractic functional neurology series, have been instrumental in formulating his unique approach to perinatal practice.
Dr. Edwards pioneered a relationship with the ICPA to be their first center for clinical pregnancy research, and subsequently amassed and organized the largest data set on chiropractic during the perinatal period in the world. He represents the ICPA at the Association for Chiropractic Colleges Research Agenda Conference and has published 14 case reports and original papers in peer-reviewed journals. His work has been part of a conscious strategy to build the body of evidence for the safety and efficacy of chiropractic care in the perinatal period through case reports and participation in the design of several large scale multi-clinic studies.
Dr. Edwards loves engaging people in conversations about salutagenesis and conscious living. This passion helped him build one of the largest Pathways Connect groups associated with the Pathways to Family Wellness magazine and leads him to teach around the country.
On a personal level Dr. Edwards loves exploring his adopted home state of Florida, as most any transplanted Midwesterner would. He enjoys the parenting adventure with his son Forrest and has a deep love for sailing, Renaissance festivals, and cinema.
Dr. Lynn Gerner, DC, FICPA, is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West in 2004 and has been in private practice since that time, focused on pediatric care and breastfeeding support. She earned her FICPA in 2004, is a trained doula, and earned her CLEC (Certified Lactation Educator Counselor) in 2021. She founded Good Life Learning, LLC (a professional education company) in 2019 to help spread the word about the benefit of the Chiropractic adjustment in connection with feeding dysfunction and oral restrictions. In this new and emerging specialty field, she also recognized the need for advanced training for chiropractors as well. She currently teaches privately as well as through Life Chiropractic College West, Northeastern Chiropractic College, Gold Lactation Learning, and the ICPA. Dr. Gerner is a wife, mother of 3 adult children, and lives in Davis, CA with her family and rescued dogs. Beyond her professional work, her other passions are traveling the world whenever possible and cycling.
Dr. Stanton Hom is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He earned a bachelors of science in Chemistry/Life Science/Pre-Medicine and was fortunate enough to be selected for an internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He was afforded the opportunity to witness brain surgery, open-heart surgery and many other wonders of modern medicine. It was also here where he decided not to pursue medical school.
After a meritorious career in the military and upon arriving in San Diego in 2005, he had the incredible opportunity to live with his brother, Steve, and become his chiropractic patient. This transformed his life to a point where PTSD, severe digestive problems, chronic pain and stress became a thing of the past. His own self-healing inspired him to take on a new mission in chiropractic.
Dr. Stan graduated from the Southern California University of Health Sciences, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 2010 and has since served the San Diego community with excellent chiropractic care. He specializes in the whole family: from preconception through birth, infants, childhood and beyond. Together, he and his team have built one of the top clinics in Southern California.
Dr. Stephanie Libs, DC, CACCP is a pediatric and perinatal chiropractor in San Diego and has been in practice since 2013. As a student at Life Chiropractic College West, she heard Jeanne Ohm speak on stage about the power behind perinatal and pediatric chiropractic care, and she was immediately hooked. She completed the ICPA courses and started her practice in San Diego, her hometown.
She married her husband Dean, who is a chiro kid, and they have two children, Aubree and Roland. Aubree was a planned homebirth that ended in a hospital transfer, which led to an array of challenges. Those challenges sparked a passion for providing better care for pregnant mothers and babies. Two years later, Steph was pregnant with Roland who was born beautifully at home into the hands of her husband. Her hunger for knowledge propelled her to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to bring the lactation and pediatric chiropractic worlds together.
Her practice has grown to support thousands of families in a subluxation-based, open-concept, communal style with several associates. Her midwife opened a birth center right next door, so there is ample collaboration for adjusting pregnant women in labor and newborns right after birth. Her office hosts numerous workshops and classes and hosts a breastfeeding support group every week with multiple holistic breastfeeding professionals. She loves all things birth and babies and is so excited to bring that love to the ICPA.
Dr. Jen Santos is a second-generation chiropractor. She received her first adjustment at 45 minutes old by her dad. Dr. Jen graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2013. She graduated with honors (Cum Laude) and received the prestigious “Clinical Excellence Award.” She is a full-time chiropractor and owner of Acorn Chiropractic Club with 3 locations in Petaluma, CA, Santa Rosa, CA and Napa, Ca. Dr. Jen taught at Life Chiropractic College West, where she fell in love with teaching. She taught obstetrics, gynecology, pediatric pathology and prenatal and pediatric adjusting. In 2020, Dr. Jen started teaching Dynamic Body Balancing. This is the work of Dr. Carol Phillips, who has contributed to the work of Spinning Babies used in hospitals and birth centers around the world. In 2021, Dr. Jen started teaching for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She now teaches 2 classes for the ICPA. The first one is “Navigating the highs and lows of a perinatal practice”. This class works and prepares chiropractors for the inevitability of loss within the perinatal chiropractic office. Dr. Jen also teaches the “Webster Technique”, which is the gold standard technique for pregnancy adjusting. After graduating with honors, Dr. Jen continued her education with CACCP (Certified in the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics) through the ICPA. Dr. Jen later earned her DACCP (Diplomate in the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics). Dr. Jen is also an Aware Practitioner and Certified Parent Educator through Spinning Babies. She is also an International Board Certified Location Consultant (IBCLC). Dr. Jen is also a BodyReady Method Pro. In Dr. Jen’s free time she enjoys being a mom to 3 boys and being married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Matt, also a chiropractor.
