Dr. Weber is a chiropractor and neuroscientist. His research seeks to develop markers of pain and sensory and motor function using machine-learning and advanced brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal magnetic resonance imaging. He aims to use these techniques to better understand pain and neurological injury and discover more effective treatments and preventative strategies. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and a Staff Chiropractor at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Health Care System. His lecture will cover his journey from chiropractor to neuroscientist and provide an overview of new advancements in spinal imaging and their potential application in chiropractic practice.
