David Testone, B.A, M.A.

FECA Billing

Professor Testone is sought after for his expertise in medical benefits adjudication. He has personally helped 100's of doctors correct their medical billing. Because of his wry and quick- witted humour, he lectures in multiple colleges and national medical associations. He is the co- founder and owner of FECA Billing and serves as the Director of Education for the company. He has a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Early on, he pursued a dual career- in education and medical benefits recovery. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and an adjunct professor at Berkeley College in White Plains, New York. As an adjunct professor at Berkeley College, he taught Business Communication and Economics at Guizhou University in Guiyang, China. His 40-year medical benefits recovery career began at Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company, working as a District Claims Manager based in Detroit. He adjudicated claims for Mutual of Omaha in over 30 states. Upon leaving Mutual of Omaha, he moved to New York and, for the last 20 years, has consulted and performed insurance medical benefit audits and recovery services. David has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of law firms, medical providers, and Federal Worker Comp practitioners.
