Brandy has served chiropractic and multidiscipline practices since 1999.
She has received professional certification from the AAPC as a Certified Professional Coder, a Certified Professional Compliance Officer, a Certified Professional Medical Auditor, and a Certified Credentialing Specialist; from the Practice Management Institute (PMI) as a Certified Medical Compliance Officer; and from the ChiroCode Institute as a ChiroCode Certified Chiropractic Professional Coder.
She has routinely been featured in a number of publications as well as speaks at seminars and webinars across the country. Brandy provides training and education as well as assists practice with coding/collections/compliance/credentialing and revenue cycle systems management as the Founder and Director of Business Development at Rapid Credentialing and Chief Operating Officer of Practisync.
After eight years running his own clinic, and then earning seven different insurance coding and compliance and audit certifications, Dr. Gwilliam has become a seminar speaker, consultant and teacher around the country. As a physician, he is well versed in medical terminology, anatomy, and documentation for medical necessity. As an instructor, he prepared students for the CPC exam and created a curriculum which improved pass rates by 50%. And, as a consultant, he has conducted audits, analyzed business practices, and solved insurance-related issues. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting. Dr. Gwilliam speaks around the country on coding, Medicare, and compliance. He is also a certified ICD-10 instructor through the American Academy of Professional Coders.
